Facing East

Wadija is a Somali group of women and children that meets weekly in Kingsley Hall, Bow, and focuses on learning English and social activities.

Facing East worked with Wadija on traditional stories, including the Somali Snake story, and the traditions of weaving and basket making. Stories were told and animated by making special objects using traditional skills.
